Facebook Share Competition T&Cs

The page explains how I run competitions on my Facebook page.

Eligibility and entry criteria

Immediate family members and duplicate entries are welcomed to help spread the word about the competition, but their comments are hidden before the winners are drawn. Entrants are asked to like the page as a condition of entry. Sharing the competition is welcomed but is not a condition of entry and is not considered when selecting a winner.

Selection of winner and runners-up

Ineligible entries are first hidden from view. Then, a random number generator (https://www.random.org) is used to select a winner from the remaining comments. For example, if there are 50 comments remaining, a number between 1 and 50 is drawn and the comment corresponding to that number is the winner. Provided the user satisfies the entry criteria, that user wins the prize, and their comment is hidden from public view. The process is repeated for runners-up.
