Fireworks Workshop

Join me on a fireworks photography workshop where you will learn how to take spectacular photos of fireworks

Group workshops in South Wales include a real photoshoot of fireworks, weather permitting. These workshops take place in the summer months at a variety of locations.

We meet for coffee and an introduction first. I will then provide a very detailed description of how I successfully capture fireworks photos, and process these into stunning images.

We arrive at our shooting location early. This give us an hour to practice the techniques in the dark.

Finally – the main event – the fireworks launch. By this time we will be confident and prepared to capture some incredible fireworks photos.

FAQs

What happens if the weather is poor?

The fireworks display goes ahead even when it’s raining, so the workshop goes ahead too! It does mean though that we need to take extra care to protect our camera equipment from the rain. Rain covers will be supplied, but bring your own umbrella just in case.

Is my camera suitable?
This workshop is suitable for any DSLR camera or a compact cmaera with manual setting. If in doubt, please contact me with your camera model and I will respond ASAP.
I don't have a tripod, can I still join the workshop?
A tripod is required for this session. One may be hired for the session at a cost of £12.
What is the cancellation policy?
Full payment is taken upfront. You may cancel your workshop up to 24 hours before and receive a full refund. A cancellation within 24 hours of the workshop will receive a 60% refund.
